  • Leverage experience with Agile, SCRUM and waterfall methodologies as appropriate to lead project teams on a daily basis for the successful delivery of software development projects and general IT projects.
  • Plan, coordinate and direct all activities associated with creating and maintaining project plans.
  • Manage the end-to-end PMO work effort, leveraging project management best practices and change management techniques
  • Define and manage project tasks, activities and resource allocation
  • Identify, quantify and track critical success factors and expected project benefits
  • Capture estimates and control time management
  • Actively assess risks and provide mitigation strategies or contingency plans
  • Monitor progress, report status and ensure compliance to governance standards
  • Coordinate with vendors and external project managers to ensure proper communication flow, adherence to budget and timelines
  • Build and maintain relationships with business leaders in the capacity of a trusted advisor
  • Ensure business partners are actively engaged and held accountable for deliverables
  • Keep management well informed of project shifts/escalations and news-worthy events
  • Create/Document and communicate process flows and changes in a manner that transcends all levels of the organization
  • Adopt role of business analyst, subject matter expert or trainer as necessary
  • Mentor team members and ensure that the team is fully productive
  • Ensure the use of best practices and applies lessons learned from previous projects
  • Establish and maintain project communications with product owners and other cross functional teams.
  • Work with organization to prioritize tasks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage daily scrums, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives and sprint demos
  • Analyze planned vs. actuals and show improvement in productivity and reduce carryovers between sprints
  • Work with delivery teams to perform backlog grooming
  • Escalate projects risks and constraints to senior management team in a timely manner
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path

Qualifications / Education


  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in process and project management working as part of a project team
  • CSM / CSP Certification preferred with thorough understanding of Scrum Agile Methodologies
  • PMP Certification a plus
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, Visio, JIRA, Confluence
  • Experience with small to large scale project implementations, conversions and data validations, go-live and post project support
  • Experience with finance/leasing industry, business, IT operations, and supporting systems a plus
  • Track and report slippages with workable mitigation plans
  • Communicate over allocation / idle hours to concerned technical leads throughout the project life cycle
  • Solid facilitation and problem-solving skills and ability to focus both strategically and tactically to achieve project goals
  • Ability to work with minimal direction
  • Solid understanding of project and change management methodologies
  • Excellent time management, documentation and elicitation skills
  • Highly motivated individual with high level of initiative and an attitude of willingness to help
  • Team player willing to assist others at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated analytical approach and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work across functional teams


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
