  • Develop, update, and conduct new employee onboarding and ensure all procedures for new hires are completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Administer all benefits programs during annual Open Enrollment and throughout the plan year
  • Assist employees with inquiries related to benefit programs and insurance information
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring
  • Develop recruiting sources and tools to assist managers during recruitment process
  • Ensure that all hiring processes are effective, time sensitive, and legally compliant
  • Work with external auditors to complete annual audits
  • Assist with the annual performance review and merit increase processes
  • Process and administer all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability, and FMLA
  • Assist in the review, testing, and implementation of new HR systems
  • Create and generate customized, scheduled and ad hoc reports for internal and external use including headcount reports, turnover and open positions, benefit reconciliation and compliance, salary planning and budgeting, and reports for EEOC and Affirmative Action Plan
  • Provide consultation to employees and managers on various inquiries
  • Complete various projects and/or conduct research on HR topics as assigned
  • Manages worker’s comp injuries and the processing of claims
  • Process and administer payroll through ADP for 275+ employees

Qualifications / Education


  • Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Visio
  • Experience with ADP or other Payroll/timekeeping software preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources required


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • HR Certification and/or PHR certification preferred

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide superior customer service and maintain cooperative working relationships
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and work autonomously or with a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively on a one-on-one basis or in group setting
  • Ability to exercise strict confidentiality
