Responsibilities:

• Manager A/P staff and entire Accounts Payable team and process
• Participate in and contribute to leadership of the AP/Treasury/Funding/Syndication team.
• Provide core support for the month-end and year-end close process in Great Plains A/P
• Manage invoice/EFT/Wire Postings in Great Plains A/P
• Maintain details of cash forecast to assist Treasury Dept.
• Coordinate with purchasing to ensure PO’s are properly managed and cleared.
• Maintain an accurate and clean aging report, ensuring that vendor invoices have been processed in a timely manner
• Participate in the year-end financial statement audit, periodic bank audits and other audits as needed
• Ensure compliance with internal control and accounting policies applicable to all accounts payable functions
• Research and resolve vendor inquiries
• Represent the Company to various trade professionals and groups, and ensure that the Company’s professional reputation is maintained
• Perform miscellaneous ad-hoc research and reporting and other duties as assigned
• Provide direct supervision of accounts payable personnel, including time off requests, time card approvals, goal setting and performance management requirements
