  • Analyze multifaceted business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision makers
  • Conduct analysis using standard practices and tools associated with data gathering and analysis
  • Resolve system defects ensuring acceptable system testing and timely deployments in collaboration with IT and external vendor to help operations conduct business more effectively
  • Gather business requirements in support of projects, reporting and process improvements
  • Participate in the planning, design and implementation of system solutions or enhancements that help keep internal tools and data flows up to date and working across the organization
  • Collaborate on projects with process owners, key team members, IT and external partners to build a cohesive infrastructure of systems
  • Establish and maintain communication channels with process owners, key team members and internal stakeholders to support data gathering and analysis
  • Provide the business with functional understanding, operation and release management of financial application MS Dynamics Great Plains and custom integrated systems
  • Assist with querying data for extraction, building or modifying smartlists and transitioning ad hoc report requirements
  • Maintain system protocols by ensuring business owners are updating policies and procedures in accordance with QMS policies
  • Review and evaluate available Functional Specifications, determine who is affected and make sure appropriate approvals are obtained, when necessary
  • Provide user training and process handoff for newly released functionality and enhancements
  • Travel may be required once or twice a year for personal development and/or our Albuquerque office

Qualifications / Education

  • Minimum 6+ years of demonstrated experience in a BSA role or equivalent supporting Enterprise Applications and cross functional projects
  • Strong working knowledge of Full Cycle Accounting and business processes (Order to Cash, Inventory Reconciliation) pertaining to General Ledger preferred
  • SME level experience with core modules AP, AR, Purchasing, Inventory, Financials, Reporting highly desired
  • SME level experience with Smartlist Builder, Integration Manager, Binary Stream MEM, eConnect highly desired
  • SME level experience with Dynamics 365 CRM a plus
  • Advanced computer skills Excel, Visio, other MS Office products required
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS SQL Server preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of setup and processes in MS Dynamics Great Plains 2015 R2 or higher preferred
  • Planning techniques related to the tasks associated with business analysis and the software development life cycle (waterfall, agile) required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science or an Accounting degree or equivalent work experience

  • Must be able to multi-task between base responsibilities and satellite projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem solving
