This position is responsible for supporting the Insight Investments mission, vision, and values by facilitating the projects related to a commitment to the community.

The Director of Community Relations & iCARE will lead all aspects of the company’s community relations strategy and execution, in alignment with the employer branding strategy. S(he) will work closely with the HR Team to craft a cohesive and positive image of the employer brand to customers, employees and applicants. S(he) must have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively. This person is expected to exemplify accountability and leadership to employees and that is focused on maintaining a positive relationship within the communit

  • Work to build “best in class” employer brand narrative and communications practice regarding iCare Program
  • Lead philanthropical activities including recommendations on charitable donations and sponsored activities that represent the company’s brand and focus.
  • Plan and oversee all iCare event project communication, program materials for companywide, regional and departmental events with HR Team
  • Manage and maintain relationships with current partners: One OC, Taller San Jose etc.
  • Determine new partners and programs that will maximize our corporate value
  • Ensure consistency in messaging that supports the company’s image and values for all philanthropic related activities
  • Manage program budgets, data collection and analysis of program ROI
  • Facilitate and track corporate donation requests and corresponding sponsorship opportunities
  • Partner with Corporate Marketing on interactions with the surrounding community and marketing strategies
  • Coordinate with Corporate Marketing for Social Media strategy or other forms of external marketing related to the iCare Program
  • Other duties as directed and required

Qualifications / Education

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-7 years’ experience working with philanthropic organizations and campaigns
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint


  • Experience working on special events, conference planning and public relations preferred
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with an ability to adapt communication style to several different audiences
  • Possess excellent customer service skills
