  • Responsibilities

    • Support the business in functional understanding, operation and release management of financial application MS Dynamics Great Plains.
    • Retain knowledge of integrated systems and external products as it pertains to MS Dynamics Great Plains.
    • Focus on the resolution of system defects ensuring acceptable system testing and timely deployments in collaboration with IT and external vendor to help operations conduct business more effectively.
    • Participate in the planning, design and implementation of system solutions or enhancements that help keep internal tools and data flows up to date and working across the organization.
    • Collaborate on projects with process owners, Product Innovation Team, IT and external partners to build a cohesive infrastructure of systems.
    • Assist with querying data extracts, building smartlists and transitioning ad hoc report requirements.
    • Maintain system protocols by ensuring business owners are updating policies and procedures in accordance with QMS policies.
    • Review and evaluate available Functional Specifications, determine who is affected and make sure appropriate approvals are obtained, when necessary.
    • Provide user training and process handoff for newly released functionality and enhancements.

    Qualifications / Education

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
    • Minimum 4+ years of experience in business support and functionality delivery
    • Must be highly motivated individual with high level of initiative and an attitude of willingness
    • Intermediate proficiency with MS Dynamics Great Plains 2015 R2 and other financial systems
    • Intermediate proficiency with MS SQL Server preferred
    • Experience with Smartlist Builder, Integration Manager, Extender and Binary Stream MEM preferred
    • Planning techniques related to the tasks associated with business analysis and the software development life cycle (waterfall, agile) preferred
    • Basic Accounting principles and Inventory reconciliation

    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide superior customer service and maintain cooperative working relationships
    • Must be team player willing to assist others at all levels of the organization
    • Ability to demonstrate analytical thinking, problem solving and work across functional teams
    • Proficiency with MS Excel, Visio, other MS Office products
    • Basic Accounting principles and Inventory reconciliation
