  • Responsibilities

    • Provide management oversight to Client Executives within the District to drive all pertinent issues related to sales strategy and goal attainment
    • Participate in strategic planning sessions with the sales management team
    • Actively market strategic partner products and Red8 business into existing/new accounts
    • Assist Account Executives in closing of business and assist in closing “all” committed business
    • Plan and direct activities including planning and implementing forecasts, marketing program development, relationship development, customer satisfaction with Marketing and partners
    • Establish short-term and long-term goals and quotas in line with corporate objectives
    • Identify needed resources for supporting sales strategy and develop a proposed budget for Senior Management review
    • Act as coach, mentor and educator to all Client Executives
    • Define quarterly quota goals for each Client Executive and ensure proper Sales Management approval
    • Partner with System Engineer Management to update needs and goals on an ongoing basis
    • Keep senior management informed of key issues and changes which may impact expected business results
    • Assume responsibility for result, including costs, methods and staffing
    • Determine performance improvement plans if Client Executives are not meeting quota requirements
    • Achieve overall quota for designated area

    Qualifications / Education

    • Moderate proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point
    • Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques
    • An aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems
    • Experience as a Sales Leader with a track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas in contiguous, multiple years
    • Demonstrated experience leading Sales organizations and technical teams
    • Experience with developing budgets and predicting project costs
    • A demonstrated ability to lead professional level employees
    • IT Project/Services background is critical for driving our Service Provider offering in hosting and private/public cloud models
    • A minimum of 10 years of experience as an individual contributor and 5 years as a people manager is required
    • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Computer Science; or equivalent experience is required
    • A Master of Science Degree in Engineering; or an MBA is preferred


    • Strong verbal and written communications skills, including presentation skills
    • Strong relationship building and negotiating skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively with functional peers across functions including Marketing, Sales Support, System Engineering
    • Strong understanding of the Information Technology Industry and competitive offerings in the marketplace
    • Must be highly motivated individual with high level of initiative and an attitude of willingness
    • Must be team player willing to assist others at all levels of the organization
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide superior customer service and maintain cooperative working relationships
    • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and work autonomously or with a team
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to communicate effectively on a one-on-one basis or in group setting
    • Ability to exercise strict confidentiality
